I am a psychotherapist, a member of Crewkerne Community Church & an administration volunteer for BAGN.

Apart from taking shopping or prescription requests at our office our telephone number has become the first point of call for many in our community who are seeking help or from agencies ringing to inform us of those in need. The networking is what I love about BAGN, it is so rewarding to be be able to connect those in need with those who can help. Over the course of BAGN being up & running we have formed many friendships with those stuck at home & knowing that we may be the only friendly voice they hear that day makes the job so worth while .

We are Maggie and Mike Lawson members of Crewkerne Community Church and the BAGN  kitchen Managers.
Maggie has a long background in the catering world and I .. Mike have a long career in the farming and food production industry. On average we provide 55 home cooked meals and desserts each Tuesday and Saturday to the vulnerable within our Community with the support of our kitchen teams ( all with appropriate Food and Hygiene certification) the team work on a rota basis.. that’s a lot of potatoes to peel and cook most weeks ! But we endeavour to keep the menus as varied as possible.  Our ethos is simple.. to provide a home cooked meal at least twice a week to those who wouldn’t be in a position to have one otherwise.. the feedback for the meals is so positive  and rewarding .  The meals will continue for as long as the need exist.
